CLNCC Annual Meeting: Wilmington Schools Plan Discussion Set For 7PM May 17th In Christiana



The Civic League for
 NEW CASTLE COUNTY

    ANNUAL MEETING
       TUESDAY, MAY 17th 
at 7:00 P.M.
CHRISTIANA PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH SOCIAL HALL
On Old Route 7 in the heart of Christiana

PROGRAM
       The public is invited.      
             
   THE WILMINGTON SCHOOLS PLAN
Why is it needed? How will the new districts look?
Will the State pay for the changes? Bring your
questions about the process.  Guests will include
the Red Clay District Superintendent and the Hon.
Jea Street, a lifelong activist for better education. 
Other speakers will be announced later.

   ELECTION OF BOARD MEMBERS
   AND OFFICERS following the program.  



     In Memoriam
      The Civic League is mourning the passing  of a dear friend and former President, Fritz Griesinger.  Fritz was passionate about the. rights of homeowners and worked tirelessly to make Pike Creek Valley the lovely and liveable place it is today. He was one of 3 key persons who fought to get the hospital built near Christiana.
